Dragon's World Kanasi

There is something lying like a heavy cloud,

over my head today,

It is not depression or sadness,

it is a mysterious thing,

This solemnity is overpowering,

it pours on its deep sorrow,

and never leaves,

it torments until there is nothing left,

The feeling tears at my heart,

it breaks it into a million bits,

and throws them to the wind,

my heart then disappears,

There is nothing left now,

but solemnity in this world,

it takes over everyone,

and leaves no happiness or joy.

She dances on the clouds,

as if she were angelic,

but she does not know,

what she really is,

All that is true,

is her pure elegance,

that sees through all evil,

and banishes away the darkness,

The elegant night drifts on,

and seems to be endless,

the starts shine as bright as the sun,

as the moon glows softly,

Her wings take her as far as they will,

showing her the world,

as it unfolds beneath in beauty,

in all of its glory,

She is true elegance,

true beauty,

the passion raves in her heart,

as she flies toward the horizon.

The light which keeps burning,

is the torch that lights the night sky,

it burns so deep,

the fire is blinding,

She holds the torch with a firm hand,

and never lets go,

as if she was protecting it with her life,

as if it was her very life,

It keeps on burning,

even through the day,

in dark places,

in the darkness of her heart.

She hides her face every day,

with a  mask with wings,

it covers her right eye,

and covers her soul as well,
 

She cannot face the world,

it scares and frightens her,

it is her wish that it did not,

but she cannot shake the feeling,
 

The masked one,

only comes out at night,

because the light burns,

it is too bright, it is too bright,
 

Sometimes she will go to masquerades,

but she stays away from others,

and hides,

the masked one is always careful,
 

Her face is always covered,

but that is who she is,

she is the masked one,

the one afraid.

It was cold when the sun rose,

and even though it was morning,

it hid behind the clouds,

and did not come out again,

It’s a dark and dreary day,

the rain poured on,

and mist blanketed the ground,

everything was less and less visible,

It is now afternoon,

the sun is still in hiding,

it seems to want to seep through,

but can’t quite make it,

Dark wings appear,

and carry off all the negativity,

into the light,

so the clouds can finally break.

The darkness seems to surround,

it takes control over everything,

there is no escape,

nothing left but emptiness,

In the cloud of nothing,

there lies a girl,

she is able to overcome,

all the evil and dark things,

But the darkness keeps trying,

trying to find a weakness,

her breaking point,

the opening in her heart,

Nothing can break through,

she is strong,

her endurance is like fire,

it burns brightly to stay alive,

The dark, it becomes her,

it suits her well,

even though she denies it,

and wants nothing of it,

It takes a hold,

of the one precious thing,

that she loves,

and would give anything for,

but darkness becomes her,

it is her true essence,

her true power, her soul,

it is her entire being.

It is so cold,

so still and frozen,

nothing wants to move,

in winter’s death,
 

The snow falls,

but even it seems lifeless,

as it collects on the cold ground,

and becomes the white landscape,
 

Winter’s death,

kills all life,

it becomes frozen under the snow,

waiting to resurrect again,
 

As the winter comes again,

so does the cold,

the cold which makes life still,

and silence takes over the world,
 

When winter’s death,

takes over everything,

the silence is unbearable,

but then one bud breaks the silence.

When the time comes,

you will know it in your heart,

you will know what to do,

it will be the end for us,
 

Something will stir,

in the stillness of night,

so that all the world will know,

what is to come,
 

There is a price to pay,

for humanity’s mistake,

for all the evil, the corrupted,

the minds of all human beings,
 

It must end,

the horror and hate,

this feeling of terror and fear,

complete destruction surrounds us,
 

We will do nothing,

but wait in the shadows,

because that is who we are,

afraid of what is to come,
 

When the time comes,

let me embrace you,

let me take you into my heart,

and love you with all that I am.

Is this life for nothing?

I keep asking myself,

what good will come from this?

this pain, hidden in this love,
 

It doesn’t make sense,

it doesn’t matter anymore,

why is it so complicated?

why is life so harsh?
 

Tell me one bad reason,

why I shouldn’t leave,

I want to go, stray,

stray from this past,
 

Now everything is lost,

everything is being taken apart,

my heart feels ripped to shreds,

and there is nothing to be done, nothing,
 

Why did this have to happen?

why is there so much pain, agony?

let me feel something,

let me know something, real,
 

In the end it is all fake,

it is made of glass,

made of artificial material,

and I see right through it.

Something in the brain,

switches on suddenly,

and then there is a twitch,

throughout the entire body,

It happens so suddenly,

one does not even feel it,

does not even realize it,

until it is already over,

Something makes the body twitch,

something unforeseeable,

it shivers up your spine,

and back down again,

The force of disturbed memories,

makes the mind twitch,

we cannot control when this occurs,

the twitch is coming again.
