The quiet of the winter,
makes it seem,
like time is standing still,
it is very peaceful,
when the sun goes down,
it starts to snow,
gentle white flakes,
fall slowly to the ground,
everything is now white,
the ground is blanketed,
in the still night,
the moon shines brightly,
on this snowy night,
everything is silent,
but the wind blows gently,
through the snow capped trees.
Memories are prescious,
but they can be painful,
sometimes unbearable,
so they remain lost,
our mind will play,
the past relentlessly,
as if wanting,
us to remember harsh times,
pain will accompany,
those memories,
we want to lose,
but can never be rid of,
lost memories,
can never fade,
they just remain hidden,
deep within our mind.
As the light fades,
through the curtains,

it slowly turns dark,
There is something covering,
the ever dimming sun,
to make it fade,
into the starlight,
As the sun,
slowly sets in the distance,
it grows darker and darker,
and day slowly becomes night,

but the stars shimmer,

There are some things,
that we don’t want anyone to know,
they can be dark and dank,
and sometimes even painful,
These secrets are to be held,
deep within the soul,
so they cannot escape,
into the world,
These dark things,
are to be kept,
locked away forever,
away from the world’s grasp,
Many things are left unknown,
buried and lost,
under rubble and sand,
very rarely are these secrets are uncovered,
Behind hidden doors,
or dark curtains,
these secrets lie,
awaiting to be discovered.
We all have hollowed memories,
they are shells of the memories,
we keep locked up inside,
that are waiting to be released,
these shells break under pressure,
and give way to powerful abilities,
powers unlike any other,
these powers we should not have,
The hollowed memories come and go,
they can be happy, sad,
fearful, spiteful,
even evil and destructive,
every day we encounter them,
these hollowed memories.
The time has come…
it pounds on the walls,
and screeches,
until all is silent,
when will all listen?
before it’s too late,
it is useless,
beacuse we are weak,
silence befalls,
the town of sorrow,
pain and anguish,
are the guides,
the time has come,
again and again,
silence is here,
nothingness exists,
to haunt us all,
the pounding continues.
This is it,
the last song,
the last verse of everything,
as it all begins to crumble,
The end is near,
I can hear it in my sleep,
the destruction and devastation,
which side will win?
It is between good and evil,
dark and light,
but which side will prevail,
that is the true question,
This is the last piece,
of the never ending puzzle,
but it will stop today,
this is the finality,
The destination has been reached,
there is no more hatred, fear,
the world is at peace,
and everyone is happy,
This is it,
the last song, verse,
the final score,
it is the finality.
The battle rages on,
it tears people apart,
and one girl alone,
sheds tears for all,
she weeps tears,
tears of pure radiance,
she is selfless,
as these tears fall,
the chimes strike,
and the fighting ceases,
but there are scars left,
scars of pain and hardship,
with this pain,
tears endlessly flow,
they shine so radiantly,
as the battle ends,
there will always be sadness,
but joy can also bring tears,
radiant and beautiful,
these tears fall.
