This powerful feeling,
that washes over me,
takes a hold,
of even my soul,
It is not pain,
not soreness or tiredness,
neither hate,
nor anger,
It is love, strong,
binding,
a tightness in the chest,
rushes in the heart,
It courses through my veins,
waiting to flow out,
into someone’s heart,
ready to give way,
Love can hurt,
but it is also beauty,
strength is love,
and forever will be.
The darkness that overwhelms,
even the smallest creature,
is pure evil,
that must be banished,
if it is allowed,
to haunt dreams,
then one must not,
dream at all,
suffering of the soul,
is like torture,
and it kills,
all love,
the light,
must break through,
the dark clouds,
to shine again.
The sweltering heat,
engulfs me,
like a flame,
so intense,
I cannot take it,
the dryness,
of even a shadow,
is there no relief?
Then the rain comes,
at first it steams,
then there’s a calm,
and then a beautiful coolness,
That washes away,
the scorch,
that had engulfed the Earth,
and the humans,
The scorch is finally over,
the rain has won.
On the foothills of my soul,
waiting,
for you to come,
and rescue me,
Please,
carry me out,
of this nightmare,
to save me,
Please don’t leave me here,
in the dark,
all alone,
shivering,
This terror,
of being alone,
frightens me,
to death,
So please,
rescue me.
We live because of the rain,
it nourishes the Earth,
and every living being,
that roams it,
If we did not have rain,
nothing would grow,
it would wither away,
the world would be barren,
The beautiful sounds,
of the drops on the window,
calm the soul,
and sparkle in the sun,
When the sun shines,
through the dark clouds,
beautiful colors in an arc,
stretch over the sky,
Rain is life,
life is rain.
The key that holds,
the future,
will unlock,
great fortune,
It will pour over,
this world,
in a glimmering blaze,
of dreams and hope,
When the time comes,
the heart will open,
and let out,
a flood of emotions,
The earth shakes,
it cracks and creeks,
until it starts to crumble,
but then the light shines,
Everything is clear,
the future,
of this world.
The time will come,
for the destruction,
of pain,
of torture, bleeding,
The suffering will end,
at last,
the soul will be freed,
of all darkness,
It will dissipate,
fly far away,
and never return,
the soul will know gladness,
Happiness will come,
grief will disappear,
and only,
joy will be left,
One must live,
to the fullest,
or life is meaningless,
so one must be happy.
Just forget it all,
throw it all away,
the pain and suffering,
and start anew,
If only it would be that easy,
the pain would stop,
relief would come,
and there would be relief,
It comes for awhile,
hauntingly,
stingingly,
clinging to the entire being,
Why?
when will it end?
the anguish,
needs to stop.
