Beginnings and Endings,
come and go,
one always follows the other,
with graceful power,
when all life ends,
there is always renewal,
so the buds can bloom,
and brids can sing,
flowers bloom full,
only to wither again,
but the cycle repeats,
and everything begins again,
this is the new beginning,
the one that is talked about,
for years to come,
until the end falls once more.
The wings,
they glowed red,
brightly they shown through,
they broke through the clouds,
The red wings,
enveloped me,
gave me strength to fly,
the strength to go anywhere,
These red wings,
please help me to fly,
fly far from here,
yes anywhere but here,
Flying above the skies,
into the deep dark of space,
the stars still shine,
bright through these red wings.
The storm moves in,
unnoticed at first,
then the rain comes suddenly,
but there is no sound,
Even the thunder is silent,
as the hail starts to fall,
the wind blows through the trees,
silently,
It is a silent storm,
as it moves through,
like a ghost,
it floats on by,
Dark clouds loom overhead,
they keep moving through,
soundlessly,
the storm moves in.
It’s the only thing to describe this,
devastation,
it is horrid, awful,
this catastrophe,
Nothing seems right anymore,
nothing is good,
when will it be all right?
when will it go away?
Devastation is everywhere,
it brings pain and suffering,
hurtful scenes envelope,
this place,
Devastation,
is the only thing to describe this.
