Painted Face
Putting on makeup,
is really painting a face,
one is covering up,
their original face,
A painted face,
is not unique,
but unoriginal,
in all ways,
The mask goes on,
in the morning,
and comes off again,
during the night,
Paint is used,
to create a new face,
but it is,
sometimes uglier,
Scary is,
the painted face,
that becomes one,
with the soul.
