Wither and Fade
I feel numb and faint,
Like something’s eating at my heart,
But I walk to you,
And everything’s all right,
Like a rose, you wither,
I don’t want you to fade,
Because I’m in love,
With you and only you,
I am timid and shy,
But you still came around,
And I feel safe,
In your arms,
Like a flower I wither,
But I won’t fade,
Not until I say I love you,
Because I really do,
Sometimes I cry,
But you always comfort me,
And I like that,
Because I am fragile…. I might wither and fade.
