Harsh Reality
This is the world we’re in,
we cannot change it,
not even the destruction,
can tear us apart,
There are some things that are not quite right,
some realities are normal,
they rely on us to make them,
and that’s why it is a harsh reality,
There is no escape,
no way out of this place,
this place of hatred and cruelty,
it’s the reality that we live in,
Sometimes everything seems so lost,
we lose our way,
and the world becomes distorted,
and the scene is now rusted over,
Why is the reality so harsh?
why do we have to live like this?
in a world so overgrown,
so filled with the fog of despair,
This is the harsh reality,
the one we have to face up to,
the one we have to live with,
and there’s no stopping.
