Corpse
My body feels cold,
like my spirit is somewhere else,
detached from my flesh,
floating around,
I feel like a corpse,
cold and dry,
skin breaking apart,
falling off the bone,
My blood still flows,
but everything else is still,
as if my mind is dead,
or elsewhere,
My body is heavy,
I try to lift my arm,
but nothing happens,
I am as stiff as a corpse,
Deteriorating,
dying, losing life,
slowly slipping away,
this is what it feels like now,
I am like a corpse,
cold and lifeless,
skin cracking,
everything is still.
