Child Pleasure

Your childish gain,

You laugh,

But I don’t care, again,

But you just laugh,

And I know your lies,

Yell out my name,

All of these ties,

With nothing to gain,

Your childish pleasure,

Leaves me with nothing,

It says that you’re there,

And your dreams are overcrowding,

Please don’t tell me,

Don’t be anyone,

You do not see,

What you have won,

And this time it’s me,

It’s me who’s crazy,

These passions get to me,

And you let me down gently,

I lie awake in bed,

My eyes are dark,

My childish dreams are dead,

And you take my hand,

I cry on your shoulder,

And tears fall into the endless void,

Of your childish pleasure,

Your childish looks and dreams.
